ITINERARY
Day 1
Ephesus Lunch

Hotel Pick-Up: 14:00

We begin our afternoon with a traditional Turkish lunch, where you’ll savor authentic flavors such as kebabs, mezes, and freshly baked bread—a delightful culinary experience before your exploration.

After lunch, enjoy a demonstration of silk production and carpet weaving. You’ll see a display of finely handmade carpets and have the opportunity to purchase one if you wish.

Next, we visit the ruins of the historic Basilica of St. John, built in honor of St. John the Apostle. Then, we’ll view artifacts unearthed from Ephesus at the Ephesus Museum, offering deeper insight into the city’s history and culture.

Finally we arrive at the he highlight of the day, the UNESCO Heritage site, Ephesus.

Begin with a walk down the remarkably preserved marble Curetes Street to the Library of Celsus. Along the way, explore the luxurious Terrace Houses, ancient dwellings adorned with intricate mosaics and frescoes—often called the “Houses of the Rich.”

Maybe try to witness the sunset from the Great Theatre, gazing down the historic Harbor Road as the sky glows over the ruins.

You have the option, if time permits, to visit the new Ephesus Experience Museum, a multi media display, which takes you back to ancient Ephesus, all those centuries ago.
