Day 1
Cairo

Welcome to Cairo — Egypt’s vibrant capital, where ancient wonders meet modern life.On arrival, your Fez Travel representative will greet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. After check-in, enjoy time at leisure to unwind or take a gentle stroll nearby.Your representative remains at your service to assist with optional dinner plans or any questions.

Day 2
Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, Memphis & Saqqara Breakfast

After breakfast, set off on a full-day journey into Egypt’s ancient heartland. Begin in Saqqara, home to the extraordinary Step Pyramid of Djoser, widely regarded as the earliest large-scale stone monument ever built. Continue south to Memphis, once the capital of ancient Egypt, and visit its open-air museum, where the colossal statue of Ramses II offers a powerful glimpse into the past. Next, head to the legendary Pyramids of Giza—monumental royal tombs that have stood for over 4,500 years and remain one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Continue to the iconic Great Sphinx, the mysterious lion-bodied guardian of the plateau. Return to Cairo in the evening after an inspiring day of discovery.

Day 3
Luxor, West Bank Tour, Nile Cruise Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your short flight to Luxor, often described as the world’s greatest open-air museum. Flight cost will be advised at the time of booking; currently approximately USD 150 per flight. On arrival, begin exploring Luxor’s West Bank, starting with the legendary Valley of the Kings, the royal necropolis where generations of pharaohs were laid to rest. Continue to the striking, cliff-set Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, built in honour of Egypt’s most powerful female ruler. Later, transfer to the river to embark your Nile cruise. Enjoy lunch and a welcome dinner onboard as you set sail, with time to unwind on deck and watch daily life unfold along the Nile.

Day 4
Karnak Temple & Sail to Edfu Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

This morning, explore the immense Karnak Temple Complex—the largest religious site ever built—renowned for its soaring columns, sacred lake, and grand processional avenues. Return to the ship for lunch as your cruise continues sailing south. Enjoy a relaxed afternoon onboard, taking in the peaceful Nile scenery as you make your way toward Edfu. Dinner is served on board, with optional evening entertainment to round out the day.

Day 5
Edfu, Kom Ombo & Aswan Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After breakfast, disembark in Edfu to visit the magnificent Temple of Horus—one of Egypt’s best-preserved temples, dedicated to Horus, the falcon god. Return to the ship for lunch as you sail onward to Kom Ombo. Here, explore the distinctive Kom Ombo Temple, a rare twin sanctuary devoted to Sobek, the crocodile god, and Haroeris. Continue cruising toward Aswan, enjoying dinner onboard as the ship arrives in this serene riverside city.

Day 6
Aswan & Philae Temple Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After breakfast, enjoy time in charming Aswan. Then travel by boat to the enchanting Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis and set beautifully amid the Nile waters on Agilkia Island. Return to the cruise for lunch, or choose to spend some free time browsing Aswan’s colourful local markets. This evening, enjoy your final dinner onboard and take a moment to reflect on the unforgettable journey along the Nile.

Day 7
Cairo, Egyptian Museum Breakfast

After breakfast, disembark and transfer to Aswan Airport for your flight back to Cairo. Flight cost will be advised at the time of booking; currently approximately USD 150 per flight. On arrival, visit the Grand Egyptian Museum, home to one of the world’s most significant collections of ancient artefacts, including treasures from Tutankhamun’s tomb. After the visit, return to your hotel. Optional evening experiences—such as a Nile dinner cruise or the Pyramids Sound & Light Show—can be arranged upon request.

Payment for these are compulsory on Christmas Eve (24 Dec) and on New Year's Eve (31 Dec), whether you attend or not. Rates will be advised at the time of booking.
