Depart from Çanakkale and head towards Troy, where we will explore the ancient city, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the new, award-winning Troy Museum. We continue on to the old village of Behramkale, a picturesque settlement with stone houses and narrow streets that offer a glimpse into traditional Turkish village life. You will have time to explore the village, take in the beautiful scenery, and perhaps enjoy a cup of Turkish tea or coffee at a local café. From Behramkale, we head south to Kuşadası.

Absorb yourself in history today with a guided tour of Ephesus and a visit to the site of the Temple of Artemis. Feel the mystical atmosphere of the ancient city and theatre before continuing to the former Greek village of Sirince, famous for its fruit wines. Carpet weaving has long traditions in Turkey and at the carpet village we learn how the carpets are made by hand and what determines their value.

We will explore Mustafapasa (Sinasos), a former Greek village. You will see Greek Orthodox architecture samples and continue to Gomeda Valley. Here you will be able to see churches carved into rocks, shelters, vineyards and underground city. Finally, we will visit Sobeses ancient city with its unique geometric mozaic floors. Then we will take a flight to Istanbul.

  3. This tour is available on any day. Be aware that some sites are closed on some days.
  4. We require a copy/image of your passport in order to book flights. You will need to have your passport handy at check-in for any domestic flights. Domestic flight times may vary due to various circumstances.
  5. We generally prioritise scheduling flights with Turkish Airlines whenever availability permits. However, on certain routes, Turkish Airlines may operate the service through AJet, and for some destinations, flights may only be available with Pegasus Airlines or SunExpress. Therefore, depending on route availability and flight schedules, we may need to arrange flights with airlines other than Turkish Airlines. Please also note that baggage allowance policies may vary between airlines. Turkish Airlines flights generally include a 25 kg checked baggage allowance, while other airlines may limit checked baggage to 20 kg.
  6. Topkapi Palace is closed on Tuesdays and is replaced with the Basilica Underground Cistern
  7. Instead of travelling between Pamukkale and Cappadocia by bus, an flight from Denizli (nearest airport to Pamukkale) to Cappadocia is available at extra cost. Please contact with us for a quote.
  8. This tour is rated as Moderate, meaning it involves some walking, stairs, and longer travel days, and is suitable for travelers with a reasonable level of fitness.
