Day 1Cappadocia Down

Begin your adventure with a visit to Derinkuyu Underground City, the deepest underground city in Cappadocia, reaching depths of 85 meters. Discover its complex network of tunnels, ventilation shafts, and living quarters, once used as a refuge by early Christians. Next, journey to the stunning Ihlara Valley, a lush canyon carved by the Melendiz River, where you’ll take a scenic walk along the riverbanks and explore rock-hewn churches adorned with ancient frescoes. Continue to Selime Monastery, an awe-inspiring rock-cut monastery perched high above the valley, offering breathtaking views and a fascinating glimpse into monastic life. Conclude your day at Yaprakhisar Panorama, a picturesque viewpoint famous for its moon-like rock formations, often compared to scenes from Star Wars.
